Standard safety features that come
on both the Nissan Altima and Maxima are a rearview camera and forward
collision warning.
- Nissan
Altima: The Altima also offers around-view monitors to check
in on all those blind spots you can't see. If you want a little more
assistance driving you can opt for the SL trim for ProPilot Assist
features that include self-steering and stop-and-go adaptive cruise
control.
- Nissan Maxima:The
forward collision warning also works with automatic braking in the event
of a potential front collision. Moving up the trim level to the
Platinum model you can get more safety features such as intelligent
around-view monitor which provides a 360-degree, top-down view of the
vehicle when parking.
Utility, Space,
and Comfort
Both the Nissan Altima and Maxima have
keyless entry and push-to-start engines for quick and easy entry. For
more trunk space both vehicles have 60/40-split rear seats.
- Nissan Altima: If
you're looking for a little more space in your trunk the Altima has 15.4
cubic feet of space, so you and your family can each take a sizeable
luggage on your next vacation. The Nissan Altima SL offers leather seats
at a lower trim level than the Maxima.
- Nissan Maxima: The Maxima has a
little less cargo capacity at 14.3 cubic feet but has an opening wide
enough for golf clubs. If you're looking for sleek comfort of leather
seats you can upgrade to the Platinum trim for quilted leather seats.
